Recently I discovered gohers had invaded my front yard. How did I know? How can you not know is the question. It looks terrible. Holes all over the place. Piles of dirt. Holes you can twist an ankle in pretty easily. Yeah. Gophers have ruined my week. I think I saw a hole a couple weeks back but I did not do anything about it. Bad idea. Should have thought a bit harder about it. Not how do I get rid of gophers? That is the question. I have checked out a couple places and professional service for this is kinda expensive. We will see what happens.

Lately, I have been thinking a lot about the old saying “You need to spend money, to make money.” I am a chiropractor and my business has not been doing as well during this current recession. When I think about having a dog, I think of all the work there is to them.  That’s what kept me from getting one, but now that I’ve wandered into the pet store a few times, I just can’t get over how cute they all are and how much I think I really want one now.  The one that I’ve decided on is a havanese dogs and he is the sweetest little guy I could ever hope for.  He was house broken in no time and is so smart about other things I teach him.  He is really friendly to all of my friends and they’ve grown to love him too.
