Gas Prices Are High Because We Burn It.
September 9th, 2008 . by adminIt’s a question being tossed around the water coolers of America much like the who shot JR conspiracy of the 1970s.
Not that other topics aren’t discussed, but the rising cost of gasoline in this country has many of us in a choke hold, which brings us back to our question: Why are gas prices so high?
Many can speculate on various answers, but to me, the answer is simple. It’s us.
Americans have a long-term love affair with their gasoline-burning, internal combustion engines.
We love our cars. We love driving wherever we want. And no matter how much the cost of gas rises, we’re still going to buy it.
And that’s the end of the question.
