Money has been a bit tight this year as my husband was made redundant in April and has struggled to find work. The economy really seems to have taken a battering and there just aren’t the jobs out there that there used to be. He is still looking for a permanent role but in the meantime is working on some part time contracts, which will tie us over. In fact some of them pay very well and if it wasn’t for the fact that they are very unstable then he could potentially make more money doing them than he would in a full time job. We have managed to cover all our bills and keep paying the mortgage, which is the most important thing. We also had to renew our motor insurance this month but that was not too painful. Fingers crossed he will find something soon though.
