I must admit that I’m usually not one for trying to save money, especially when it comes to my car, because I really like driving around, and even though the price of gas has risen recently I don’t like to cut back. However, even I was finding that the gas bills were getting pretty heavy, and so I decided to try out a gas mileage calculator in order to see if it was possible to make some cost savings. To my surprise I found that there were plenty of ways that I could make cost savings by simply doing a few things differently, such as making sure that I didn’t drive above a certain speed for certain parts of the journey, and by making sure that I use cruise control as much as possible. I still like to drive, but it’s a good feeling to know that I am at least now not wasting as much money as I was before.
