New report: chapter 7 bankruptcy San Diego skyrocket
November 29th, 2009 . by adminI read in the local paper here in San Diego, California that chapter 7 bankruptcy filings are the highest in the nation in our community. I can see the carnage when I drive down the street. At first, we saw the chapter 7 bankruptcy San Diego market decline because of the residential real estate market slowdown. Now the big issue triggering chapter 7 bankruptcy filings is the decline is financing for commercial real estate. When I go by strip malls I see 30% to 40% vacancy rates. No business can survive that. When you don’t have tenants in commercial real estate you can’t pay your mortgage.
