My parents have always lived in Aberdeen like their parents before them and their parents before them. I have cousins and aunts and uncles in the area, and going back to visit has always been a highlight for me. However, I never really gave much thought to living there myself, until recently. I just married a wonderful man who happens to be a veterinarian, and he has just accepted a position back home. Last night my small Cocker Spaniel woke me up out of a deep sleep. I had fallen asleep on the big chair in the family room. I guess my little dog was freaked out by this fact. I usually fall asleep in my own bed and my dog usually climbs up and sleeps at my feet. As I turned over to try and fall back to sleep I started thinking about the wonderful funeral speech I had heard earlier in the day that was given by the wife of a former boss. He was only fifty two years old and was always so vibrant.

Last year, I invented a really neat software that I wanted to get a patent on. I looked online to see what I would have to do to get one. I didn’t realize that you could get a patent online. It took a little while, but the process went very smoothly for the most part. I am really excited to be able to market my product now. I think it is going to be very popular because it is fun and very user friendly. My family and friends who have used it so far really seem to like it a lot.
