Acne And Pregnancy
September 1st, 2008 . by adminAbout half of all women suffer from comedonal acne during their twenties as a result of the monthly hormonal cycle. However, pregnancy can provide some relief from the condition, although this is often nothing more a shift in the pattern of acne. In pregnant women acne has a tendency to break out randomly and is often seen in women who have not previously suffered from acne. In most cases acne appears during the third trimester when hormonal levels are changing rapidly. The good news however is that acne will often disappear after delivery with only a relatively few women continuing to suffer from if they choose to breastfeed.
