Having personal trainers seemed like a luxury reserved for wealthy people and successful athletes, or at least to me it did.  I never realized what reasonable rates were offered to my gym, and I never imagined that a trainer would want to spend time with someone like myself, being completely unskilled and new to working out.  Then, after a few weeks of being stuck, bored, and unmotivated, I investigated what it would take to get a little help. Surprisingly, I found that I was a perfect candidate for a trainer, and my husband gave me a year’s worth of training as a wonderful Christmas gift!  It’s not just for the rich and famous, after all!
