Always get this information in writing in case a claim needs to be made. While problems with completed electrical work should be rare for the electrician hired, it is beneficial to ask in advance for references of people that had problems that required additional service. Ask the reference for information on how the warranty process was handled and if they were fully satisfied with the outcome.
