July 31st, 2008 . by adminI have a lot of experience with crate training puppies. I got a puppy a few years ago. I decided that he needed a playmate, so I got another puppy about a year later. When they were old enough, I decided to breed them. I have had two litters of pups so far. I used a crate to housebreak both of my dogs, and I stat the litters on house training before they leave to go to their new homes. I think that crate training is the most effective way to housebreak a new puppy.
