Preserving memories is so important, and the Internet makes it so easy now, there’s really now excuse not to.  For example, I was back home for my brother’s graduation when my dad asked me to go up to the attic to get one of our old high school yearbooks. While working my way to the back of the attic, I couldn’t help but go through a few boxes of stuff I hadn’t seen in years – grade school art projects that me and my brother had made for my mom, the tassel from my graduation, and a box of old photo albums that used to be on a bookshelf downstairs. I came down with the yearbook and a few of the albums and we had a lot of fun going through them. But you could tell they were starting to age badly in the attic so I showed mom how to work the scanner on her computer printer and we loaded them online. Talk about easy photo sharing! Of course, I emailed my favorites to myself!
