On the Subject of American Medical School Rankings

March 31st, 2008 . by admin

Rankings systems seems to be a point of contention among students and administrators alike. However, without rankings, there can be no other reasonable way to quantify a medical school’s performance without extensive research on a case by case comparison, which would be unfair in most cases. There are two  American Medical School Rankings , namely, rankings for research and rankings for primary care. These rankings systems are imperfect, yet quite useful for allowing one at a glance to see which schools are likely to produce graduates. Unfortunately, there is no other system as useful as these rankings for the time being to demonstrate a school’s performance.
