Hoboken used to be a dump of the worst kind. There was high crime, large numbers of low income projects, and very low property values. Though you could have bought a brownstone in Hoboken for $40,000 20 years ago, that is no longer the case. Now, you couldn’t buy a brownstone there for a million dollars. If only we had a time machine and could go back and buy things on the cheap! This is an area of Jersey that has changed like no other, and has an exciting night life, low crime, and great community feel. Check it out.
