Experience Space at the U.S. Space & Rocket CenterThe U.S. Space & Rocket Center offers an excellent opportunity for budding young astronauts as well as anyone else who is interested in learning more about space to find out more about the space program. The Center is located in Huntsville, Alabama and contains not only a huge selection of thrilling space rides but also a massive collection of actual space vehicles and space related artifacts from both the United States and Russian space programs. Visitors have the chance to find out what it feels like to experience a rocket launch, land on the moon, hover over Mars and much more. After enjoying the many different thrilling space rides, visitors can head on over to the Davison Center for Space Exploration where they can see Saturn V, now full restored. The Center also includes an IMAX Theater and regularly hosts a variety of space related films. Three different space camps are also hosted at the Center for children and teens interested in learning more about space. The Center is open 9AM to 5PM daily, with the exception of major holidays.
