USA Women’s Hockey
January 26th, 2010 . by adminThe 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada are coming up in a couple weeks and the world is gearing up. One event that many viewers are unaware that happens in the Olympics is women’s hockey. It burst on to the Olympic scene in 1998 in Nagano, Japan.
The USA women’s hockey team was the first team to capture the gold medal in the inaugural event. They defeated Canada and since then Canada has won the gold in the past two Olympics. They look forward to facing each other in the upcoming Olympics and continuing a rivalry that has spanned for decades.
