Not long ago I began having problems with my computer and started searching for solutions.  Every time I tried to visit a website after doing a search,  I would get a notification on my screen that my computer was infected.  It would then take me to a site that offered software that would remove the infection.  Fortunately I didn’t fall for this.  I did a little bit  of research and discovered that this is a tactic that is commonly used by hackers to make sales of useless software.  While I was doing my research I found a program that would effectively remove security tool malware.  Now my PC is back to running properly.
