Many Baby Boomers enjoy using a fifth wheel RV. These RV’s are part of the type called “towables”. This is because an automobile or truck must tow them. Some RVers can think of many reasons not to have to tow an extra vehicle when they travel. That is a major reason for choosing a fifth wheel RV. When you head out in a fifth wheel RV you have a vehicle with you that can be disconnected from the Fifth Wheel RV and drive you around town. The reason that this works so well for the Baby Boomer crowd is because most of them are in the empty nest stage of life and the two person seating capacity of the typical tow vehicle is just right.
